The Pennsylvania State Police arrested a man for installing a camera in a bathroom at a business in Summit Township, Erie County.
It was reported Friday afternoon at the Krispy Kreme on Peach Street.
Corey Clark, 34, of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, was arrested on accusations of breach of privacy.
According to investigators, Clark hid a camera in an air vent above the toilet in the men’s restroom.
A 44-year-old man from Macedon, New York, spotted the camera while accompanying a 9-year-old youngster, according to authorities.
The victim gave over the camera to Krispy Kreme employees, who immediately notified the state police.
While staff waited for troopers to arrive, Clark approached them and asked for the camera’s return, according to authorities. Troopers found Clark outside the store after staff refused to return the camera.
They arrested him and brought him in for interrogation. According to state police, both the camera and Clark’s cellphone were taken as evidence.
Clark, who has no connection to the firm, was charged and transported to Erie County Prison.
