New Kensington, Pa. – Police arrested a New Kensington man after being dispatched to the Shop N Save for a reported physical domestic just after 11:00 am Sunday morning.
Upon arrival and speaking with the victim who stated a man walked up to her while she was shopping and stated, “Just who I’ve been looking for”; then slapped her across the face so hard it “jerked back her head”.
A description of the male was given to police who later located the male identified as Don Deforest Suber from 1365 4th Avneue in Arnold. Suber stated that the person accusing him was lying about the attack.
Video evidence clearly showed Suber’s clothing and Suber walk up to the victim and strike her with his right hand across her face. The victim did sustain injuries in the attack. Suber currently resides in the Westmoreland County jail after failing to post a $5,000 monetary bond.
The charges: M2 Simple Assault 09/08/2019, S Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact and S Disorderly Conduct Engage In Fighting. A preliminary hearing is scheduled on September 19th at 2:00 pm before the Honorable District Magistrate Frank J. Pallone Jr.
