Victim identified in Parks Township fatal motorcycle incident

Parks Township, Pa. – Armstrong County Coroner Brian Myers has identified the male operator of a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred along Dime Road in Parks Township just after 8:00 pm Friday Evening.

Coroner Myers said Alec D. Miller, age 21 of North Apollo died after his motorcycle left the road way and struck an embankment near Ed’s Tire and Auto near Gravel Bar Road about 8:12 pm Friday night. Miller was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene by Armstrong Co. Chief Deputy Coroner Robert Bellas. Speed is believed to be a factor.

The Coroner’s office was assisted at the scene by Parks Twp. Police, Parks Twp. FD, North Apollo FD, Burrell Twp. FD, Bethel Twp. FD. and Oklahoma ambulance.
