New Kensington, Pa. – Multiple EMS and Police units responded to Long Johns Silvers just after 1:00 pm Tuesday afternoon after two vehicles collide on Tarentum Bridge Road.

The driver of a white Nissan Rogue was making a left hand turn onto Tarentum Bridge from Caldwell Avenue when the operator of a blue 4-door sedan appeared to have tried to enter the old K-Mart Parking lot in the wrong lane when the crash occurred. After the collision, both vehicles traveled down the hillside side by side when the Rogue struck 3 cars parked in the parking lot.

The female driver of the blue 4-door sedan struck her head off the windshield and was transported to the hospital, condition unknown. The operator of the Nissan was not injured as well as the operators/passengers of the other 3 vehicles.

3 vehicles were towed from the scene by Hawk Towning of Arnold. It’s not known if the cause of the crash was due to a driver error or a medical condition. The crash remains under investigation.
