Soggy weather continues in the Alle-Kiski Valley

Alle-Kiski Valley, Pa. – Residents of the Alle-Kiski Valley can expect the wet-soggy weather to continue for the rest of Wednesday and Thursday as scattered showers continue to linger with no relief in sight until the upcoming weekend.

The National Weather Services says there’s a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 78. Southwest winds are from 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch are expected but higher amounts are possible in thunderstorms.

Thursday: Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 9am. Cloudy, with a high near 77. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

A flash floor watch remains in effect in Pennsylvania through Thursday.
