Single-vehicle crash in Natrona Heights causes extensive damages to building

Natrona Heights, Pa. – Harrison Township Police, City Hose EMS and Fire crews responded to a single-vehicle crash into a structure along Freeport Road after a driver accidentally hits the gas pedal causing damages to two adjacent offices in the Anchor Court Complex.

The two offices involved were Fine Hair Dressers and The Counseling Place. Fine Hair Dressers took the brunt of the hit with the front door shattered and a pane glass window shattered. The Counseling Place had a window shattered with what appeared to be minor damages inside. Protective fencing along the front of the structure was also damaged.

Police said the Harrison Township woman was not injured in the incident that occurred just before 9:00 am. It was purely an accident, said Officer Ken Hanzlik, nothing medical, just a pure accident. The woman was evaluated by City Hose EMS crews. No other injuries to workers inside were reported.

Police requested Harrison Township code enforcement to the scene to evaluate the the structure.
