Route 28 Restrictions begin Monday in Frazer Township

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing restrictions on Route 28 in Frazer Township, Allegheny County, will begin Monday, April 15 weather permitting.

Off-peak single-lane restrictions, shoulder closures, and short-term traffic stoppages will occur as needed on Route 28 under the Butler Logan Bridge (Route 1019) according to the following schedule:

Southbound – From 9 a.m. to 5 a.m. the following day

Northbound – From 7 p.m. to 2 p.m. the following day

Restrictions will occur as needed for demolition, construction, painting, and removal of the paint containment system on the Butler Logan Bridge over Route 28 through late September.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 860 traffic cameras.
