A Rankin County woman was arrested on Wednesday morning following an “extensive” investigation.
According to the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department, the investigation began in response to claims of fraud and employee malfeasance at a small firm.

The data and information gathered during the investigation revealed many instances of fraud committed by Sherri Kimbrow of Florence.
Kimbrow was arrested and brought to the Rankin County Detention Center, where she is currently held on a $5,000 bond.
