New Kensington, Pa. – An Arnold man is facing several summary traffic offense citations after allegedly crashing the vehicle he was driving into the Stevenson Boulevard Subway last month.

Cited in the incident is Brandon Tyaire Jackson, age 22 of Arnold. Jackson is charged with failing to report an accident to police, failing to drive at safe speeds, reckless driving and property damage.

On scene last month: AKVNEWS.COM spoke with one female witness from Saxonburg who said the Fusion vehicle flew over top of her vehicle before the vehicle slid on it’s roof and into the front door of the Subway.

Sources reported the store surveillance video shows the vehicle on it’s roof sliding into the entrance of the store and the driver getting out trying to upright the vehicle. Damages to the front of the store were extensive with metal framework bent from the impact. A large window pane was seen resting near the cash register.

It’s unclear if any criminal charges will be filed in the incident. The Subway shop remains closed and is expected to stay that way for a couple months.
