Authorities are currently searching for information on two bicyclists who violently beat a pedestrian in Manhattan last October. The Crimestoppers program of the New York Police Department has revealed information regarding the event, which occurred in the 20th Precinct at West 82nd Street and Central Park West. According to the criminal complaint, the two offenders attacked a 45-year-old male on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, approximately 5:55 p.m., causing multiple head and face lacerations.
According to an NYPD Crimestoppers social media post, one of the bikers appears to have used his bike as a weapon to strike the victim numerous times in the head. This shocking act of violence in broad daylight has sparked an appeal for the public’s help in identifying and locating the perpetrators. The NYPD has issued a reward of up to $3,500 for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible.
The NYPD has not published any details of the suspects; thus, they remain unidentified. The government is inviting the public to come forward with any information, no matter how little, that could help locate the culprits.
