A Pittsburgh man was arrested early this morning for allegedly attacking a woman during a domestic violence episode and then resisting arrest, according to Pennsylvania State Police in Indiana.
Troopers say the incident occurred around 2:07 a.m. on Kunkle Avenue in Homer City Borough. The man allegedly smashed the 37-year-old woman against the walls and floor of a bedroom, causing obvious injuries to her left eye, neck, and arm.
The subject allegedly resisted arrest when the police arrived, but they eventually subdued him and took him into custody.
The man faced charges of simple assault, harassment, and resisting arrest.
Charges were brought before Magisterial District Judge Robert S. Bell. The suspect was taken to the Indiana County Jail to await his arraignment.
