South Buffalo Township, Pa. – More than 100 volunteers searched the woods and farmlands for Kenneth Himes, a 70 year-old man who walked away from his brother’s home on Christmas night about 11:00 pm.

Searchers included the State Police, firefighters, bloodhounds from Greensburg and simply volunteers in general who wanted to help locate the missing man who is believed to have walked towards 3 ponds behind the families home. At least 6 scent dogs led searchers towards the ponds. Fire crews are currently draining one of the larger ponds in the hopes of providing answers as to the man’s whereabouts.

No massive searches are planned for Friday. AKVNEWS.COM will continue to follow this story and provide more details as they are released.
