New Kensington, Pa. – One elderly female is evaluated by EMS after a two-vehicle crash along Tarentum Bridge Road Saturday afternoon.

Sources at the scene said a pickup truck driver waived another driver to cross in front of them in the passing lane but then collided with another vehicle in the slow lane having the right of way traveling SR 366 East on Tarentum Bridge road when the crash occurred.

The female driver was hit and crashed into a concrete light stand near the First National Bank in front of the old K-Mart. The red four door sedan sustained severe damages to the front end with full air bag deployment. Damages to a tan Cadillac were moderate.

New Kensington Police Officer Mike Krahe and Officer Jason Kerr processed the crash scene and summoned Elias Towing of Arnold to remove both vehicles from the roadway. Traffic through the area was slowed for about an hour. The driver of the Cadillac appeared to be uninjured.
