County Police Looking to Identify Male in Edgewood Spitting Incident *UPDATE*

Edgewood, Allegheny County – On Wednesday, April 1, 2020, the Edgewood Police were called to the Giant Eagle located at 1705 South Braddock Ave for a verbal altercation between a customer and a store manager. During the altercation, the customer spit on the side of the managers face before leaving the store.

The investigative assistance of the Allegheny County Police General Investigations Unit was requested. The initial investigation revealed that the actor paid $50.00 for a money order but then demanded he receive $100 for the money order. Store employees reviewed the video and determined $50.00 was the correct amount. The male began screaming and threatening employees before spitting in the managers face. Detectives learned that the suspect is a black male, slender build with some facial hair, wearing a camouflage hoodie with the hood pulled up.

**The male has been identified as 23-year-old Brandon Thompson of East Liberty. An arrest warrant has been obtained. He has been charged with Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault, REAP, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct.**
