SWAT called to Baileys Run Road in Frazer Township Friday afternoon

Frazer Township, Pa. – Multiple police units responded to the 800 block of Baileys Run Road in Frazer Township after a report of a residence being broken into and an actor/s possibly still inside when the homeowner came home.

Shortly after police arrived and Baileys Run Road shut off to local traffic, police called in the Allegheny County SWAT Team for further intervention. SWAT personnel moved into position after 4:00 pm when a bull horn could be heard encouraging any suspects inside the residence to come out. A short time later, 2 flash bangs went off along with sirens and horns with another announcement for the actor to come out.

During this incident, Allegheny County 911 dispatch reported another incident on Baileys Run Road in the 800 block for an individual barricaded inside a residence. At least 6 police units broke off the first incident speeding to the second call which appeared to be unfounded.

The incident terminated about 5:30 pm. Unconfirmed reports indicated no person/s were apprehended at the scene. Bailies Run Road re-opened about 5:45 pm.
