Story Update: 2 dead, possible double homicide in North Vandergrift

North Vandergrift, Pa. – 2 dead in Armstrong County. Authorities in Armstrong County reported a family member found a 17 month-old toddler at the scene of a possible double homicide early Monday afternoon. The toddler’s medical condition was checked out and is ok. The toddler is staying with relatives.

Investigators have been utilizing a mobile command center and are expected to remain on scene for several hours since a search warrant was issued on the residence.

The call came into police about 3:15 after a family member entered the house and found 2 people dead along with the minor child that was not injured.

Authorities found several bullet holes in the home. The house is located at the corner of Lincoln Street and West 5th in Parks Township. A coroners report has not yet been released identifying the man and woman found inside the house.

District Attorney Scott Andressi said there are no suspects.
