Harrison Township, Pa. – State Police in Kittanning seek the public’s help in locating a tractor-trailer with company lettering on the door after a hit and run crash occurs in the Southbound lane of the Allegheny Valley Expressway about a mile prior to Exit 15.

According to the report, a tractor semi-trailer was in the left lane of travel and attempted to merge into the right lane when the operator failed to see a passenger vehicle in the right lane. The tractor-trailer’s front passenger side tire contacted the rear door of a GMC Terrain causing significant damage to the door.

The operator and passenger from Tarentum were not injured in the incident. Police say the driver of the semi slowed as if he knew he hit the passenger vehicle, but continued Southbound without stopping and exchanging information.
