Springdale Township, Pa. – Heavy wet snowfall on slushy roads was responsible for a 2-vehicle crash on Riddle Run Road Monday afternoon after a New Kensington woman lost control of her vehicle while rounding a slight curve.

The woman driver of the red SUV was not injured but quite shaken from the hard hit to a KIA driven by an operator from California. The woman said she was rounding the curve when she hit slush on the roadway causing her to lose control and spin the vehicle striking the KIA in his lane.

Springdale Township police slowed traffic through the area until tow crews arrived to remove both vehicles. The driver of the KIA was not injured.
