PSP Kittanning apprehends warrant suspect involved in stabbing incident

Update – July 16, 2017 from PSP Kittanning – PSP Trooper Vaccaro reported that on 7/15/2018, Edward D. Wilson, age 35 of Kittanning was apprehended without any resistance by police. Wilson is currently lodged in the Armstrong Count Jail. Original story appears below.

(Original Story) Boggs Township, Armstrong County, Pa. – PSP Kittanning is investigating an incident of aggravated assault after the accused and victim engaged in a physical altercation that resulted in the accused stabbing a 34-year old male from Ford City.

Police say Edward Wilson, age 35 of Kittanning, is accused in the incident and has an active warrant. Wilson is currently on the run from PSP. The victim is currently being treated at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. The victim was stabbed several times in the abdomen and neck area.
