Plum Borough, Pa. – Police in Plum Borough responded to a possible domestic situation about 2:00 pm Thursday afternoon but were unable to coax a male out of the residence that ultimately resulted in a stand-off for approximately 4 hours.

The incident occurred in the 100 block of Coxcomb Hill Road as multiple police units surrounded the house and unable to get anyone to answer the door. Radio traffic indicated two vehicles were in the driveway, but police were initially unable to determine if the subject they were looking for was at the residence.

The Allegheny County Swat Team arrived on scene about 5:00 pm and the stand-off ended without incident with the suspect in handcuffs. Multiple EMS units assisted at the scene and were called to the residence once the scene was secure.

No injuries were reported.
