New Kensington man suspected of DUI after trip to Methadone Clinic

Harrison Township, Pa. – One man was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop was conducted on SR 28 near Exit 17 in Harrison Township on November 9th.

Pennsylvania State Police Tpr. Elliott said the incident occurred as the suspect was traveling about a mile south of Exit 16. After further investigation, police said the operator’s insurance had been cancelled. The suspect related to police that he had just come from a methadone clinic. The unidentified suspect showed many signs of intoxication and was taken into custody with suspicion of DUI. Charges pending lab results.
