Kiskiminetas Township, Pa. – Police in Kiski Township announced the Armstrong/Clarion Regional DUI Task Force will be conducting enforcement throughout the coming weeks beginning on November 19, 2018.
The enforcement will be done through both stationary and mobile roving patrols. The enforcement is part of the Operation Safe Holiday across Pennsylvania. Officers will be looking to keep the roadways safe so that all motorists can enjoy their holiday plans safely.
The task force will also be combining with the police departments participating in the Buckle Up Pa Thanksgiving Mobilization which is conducted November 19 through December 2nd. Nighttime hours will be the focus of the enforcement time. DUI and seat belt enforcement go hand in hand as fatal and sever injury crashes have higher rates at night due to lack of seat belt usage and drivers found to be under the influence.
Please stay safe this holiday weekend.
