New Kensington, Pa. – Multiple firefighters are on scene of a house fire in the 1700 block of Arnold Street as high winds fueled the flames being swept from one end of the house to the other.

Fire crews are dealing with heavy smoke, flames and strong winds as crews put down hoses and attacked the fire from the front and rear of the structure. The initial call came out with possible entrapment from Westmoreland 911, however a short time later it was reported all occupants were out of the house.

Bitter cold temps and steady winds are making the firefighting difficult. Crews got busy rather quickly once the hoses were charged in what appeared to an interior attack at the rear of the house.

One woman was seen being escorted to a New Kensington EMS truck for evaluation and warmth.
