Harmar, Pa. – Multiple police units were dispatched to the UPMC outpatient medical facility about 6:00 pm Tuesday evening after reports of a man with a gun inside the building.

Allegheny County SWAT arrived on scene along with several unmarked police units staging at a rally point in the Bob Evans Parking lot. A drone was seen scouring the front of the building as police patiently waited and positioned themselves in a perimeter around the building.

Traffic through the area was unaffected by the incident except for a few attempting to get to the restaurant. The incident came to an end about 8:15 pm. It was reported the suspect did have a license permit to carry a gun, however no details were released by police.
