Fire crews in Fawn Township battling fully involved house fire off Bull Creek Road

Fawn Township, Pa. – (2:15 pm) (Update: Fire under control as of 3:13 pm.) Firefighters in Fawn Township and units from Tarentum are battling a fully involved house fire in the 400 block of Johnson Avenue just off Bull Creek Road.

Radio dispatch is reporting the fire is at the top of the lane on Johnson Avenue across the road from the Outdoor Life Lodge. Initial reports were the structure was fully involved. Crews have a line running up Johnson Avenue attached to a hydrant. A tanker is at the scene providing initial water attack.

Multiple fire units are staging on Bull Creek Road. Fire command is requesting manpower to the scene. Utilities have been notified. Station #112 Rehab (Brackenridge) fire department has been summoned to the scene. Current temperatures are ranging from 87 to 93 degrees. Medical crews are at the scene if needed. Fire personnel are requesting ATV’s to help manpower make it to the top of the lane.

On Scene – Station 150, 151, 280 and 281. Also assisting was station 159 & 160 Frazer Townshp. The Allegheny County Fire Marshal is in route to the scene.
