East Deer Police investigate vehicle incident near the New Kensington Bridge

East Deer Township, Pa. – Police in East Deer Township responded to a 2-vehicle incident near the New Kensington Bridge about 3:15 pm Monday afternoon with reported injuries.

The male driver of a black VW stated to several bystanders he was traveling north near the New Kensington Bridge when another vehicle passed him, put his SUV in reverse running up and over the hood of his car. The driver of the VW showed the officer what he described as tire marks on the hood of the vehicle all the way up to the windshield.

Damages to the VW were moderate and no injuries were reported. Police cleared the scene as both operators were able to drive away without towing assistance. Police are investigating.
