Baldwin, Allegheny County – At approximately 11:55 a.m., the Baldwin Police and paramedics were dispatched to the 900 block of Angelo Drive in response to a 9-1-1 call about a shooting.

There they found a 21-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local trauma hospital where he died from those wounds. Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit responded and initiated an investigation. It was determined that 33-year-old James Darnel King was responsible for the shooting. An arrest warrant has been secured for King charging him with homicide, recklessly endangering another person, tampering with evidence, and weapons charges.
King is from the North Side of Pittsburgh and was last seen driving a tan 2008 Hyundai sedan with PA tag JNB 7404. King is a black male, approximately 5’7” tall and160 lbs. with glasses. Anyone sighting King should call 9-1-1 immediately. Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts is asked to call the Allegheny County Police tip line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
