Arnold, Pa. – Police in Arnold make an arrest and seize suspected cocaine while on Narcotics Interdiction Patrol in the 1600 block of Horne Boulevard Saturday night.

Evidence seized in Arnold drug bust August 5th, 2017

Arnold Law Enforcement Officer Wes Biricocchi said a suspected drug deal was clearly observed while on patrol in the high drug trafficking area of Arnold Manor when a male approached a Chevy Cobalt occupied by Catherine Dorsey from Natrona Heights. Police said the black male executed a hand to hand transaction with Dorsey and turned around to go back into Arnold Manor. A small quantity of suspected cocaine in a knotted baggie was recovered from Catherine Dorsey. Dorsey stated she had contacted the male to meet at the Arnold Manor location to get some coke.

Arnold Police Chief Eric Doutt was notified of the incident and provided officers additional investigative information concerning the incident. Arnold Police proceeded to a room in the Arnold Manor where contact was made with the tenant of the apartment. The resident motioned police to enter the apartment finding a bathroom door closed and occupied by Vincent Bostic, age 43 of Pittsburgh. Bostic was holding a small green tube which he stated was just a little weed.

Police were able to positively identify Bostic as the male who made the transaction with Dorsey. Bostic stated he never sold any cocaine or had any cocaine. The tenant consented to a search of the residence for related narcotics and located in plain view on the bathroom floor where Bostic was located was a black digital scale. Police said located inside the toilet bowl was a Newport cigarette box that was unable to be flushed. Inside that box were 3 separate baggies of suspected cocaine. Police seized 2 cell phones and $15.00 in cash. Field results tested positive for cocaine.
