PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that the Andy Warhol (Seventh Street) Bridge in the City of the Pittsburgh will close to vehicular traffic at 7 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018. The contractor, Brayman Construction of Saxonburg, will be sealing the concrete bridge deck. The work can be done only during limited times as it is dependent on weather conditions.
The closure is expected to last until 6 a.m. on Monday, October 1. During the closure, the bridge will remain open to pedestrians. For motorists, the Rachel Carson (Ninth Street) Bridge will be utilized as a detour.
