5 people displaced after overnight fire in Lower Burrell

Lower Burrell, Pa. – Firefighters in Lower Burrell were toned out about 4:30 Wednesday morning for a house fire located in the 4100 block of James Street that displaced 5 persons prompting the American Red Cross to assist in the incident.

Lower Burrell Assistant Fire Chief James Sabulsky said the fire extinguished itself but not before causing moderate smoke damage inside the residence. 2 cats perished in the fire. Assisting Lower Burrell was Arnold VFD and Citizens Hose VFD in Natrona Heights.

The exact cause of the fire is undetermined. No injuries were reported.
