18 year-old shot 3 times in Arnold Thursday night

Arnold, Pa. – An 18 year-old male is shot 3 times at the corner of Kenneth and North Streets in Arnold just before 9:30 pm Thursday night.

Arnold firefighters were dispatched to the ballfield for a helicopter landing to transport the male by air to a Pittsburgh Hospital. Arnold Police Chief Eric Doutt said the incident appears to be a set-up and the two suspects were on the run in a Nissan Versa headed south on Leishman Avenue.

Chief Doutt said the man was shot in the right foot, left arm and in the abdomen. Police were able to locate at least one .22 casing at the corner of Kenneth and North.

Westmoreland County Detectives are on scene piecing the details together.
